So I'm assuming that the firewall does not responde fast enough to the RDP client and causing a connection fail. So I started to clean out all IPs that were block more then a months time and reduced the list to around 200. Would a firewall take to check all these IPs to the connecting one, and would it responde in time to the RDP cliente. I had a lot of IPs mainly because the server was massively attacked (around 5000 IPs blocked) so in my head I was thinking how long This program places a block ip on firewall list and then remove it after a certain amount of time but it does not. Ok I use a program to block IPs case they fail a login on Remote Desktop more then 5 times. but I think I solved the problem in my case. I had the same problem and after banging my head against the wall I had this problem narrowed down to the firewall.
